Mission Statement

The three main IMAAC missions are:

		Provide an international forum to serve the materials community for more effective management and utilization of traditional as well as new materials taking into account their techno-economic aspects and impact on sustainable industrial development.
		Function as a proactive institution in building up awareness in industries and governments in the face of technology trends impacting on development of national materials and human resources within the rapidly changing global economic environment.
		Assist developing economies to absorb and apply the rapidly emerging knowledge in materials and to enable them to cope with the demands of competitive global markets as well as meeting quality and environmental standards. It will also help enterpreneurs and investors to look for new businesses and partnerships.
